- The National Indoor Scholastic Championships and USATF Metropolitan are pleased to announce that in conjunction with USA Track & Field’s Win with Integrity program that Olympic gold medalists Dan O’Brien and Joanna Hayes will take part in the NSIC at the New Balance Track & Field Center in New York City. O’Brien, the 1996 gold medalist in the decathlon, and Hayes, the 2004 gold medalist in the 100m Hurdles, will conduct a Win with Integrity session on Saturday evening at the Laguardia Crown Plaza Hotel. During the program they will speak to the high school athletes about the positive results that come from leading a physically active, drug-free lifestyle while living with integrity and also field questions from the audience. O’Brien and Hayes will also attend the meet during the day on Saturday where the high school athletes will have the opportunity to meet the two superstars and get their autographs.
