The  National Scholastic Indoor Championship is a USATF-Metropolitan event that began in 1983 to bring together the top athletes across the country. The NSIC has been held at Princeton, Yale, Syracuse, Annapolis, The Reggie Lewis Center and The New Balance Track & Field Center. Since it’s creation, meet directors Tracy Sundlun, Dorothy Clinton, Cheryl Toussaint, James Finger, Mike McGinley,  and Adam Sanford have all made great contributions to the National Scholastic Indoor Championship to make it the meet it is today.
